Remember when grandpa use to sit out on the porch on a hot summer day and turn the handle on that old ice cream maker. Everyone in the neighborhood would come over and socialize until that ice cream was frozen enough to eat. That’s exactly the kind of summer days Southern Pride Restaurant & Catering was thinking of when they were planning out their summer specials for the community.
Every Friday in the month of June, 2 pm – 4 pm, there will be home made ice cream!! Pull up a stool at the soda fountain, socialize with some friends and get that cold home made ice cream without you or grandpa having to do all the hard work.
Ladies Night is the 1st Thursday of every month. All for the low price of $35.00, the ladies can come in, enjoy a meal and learn to paint on canvas.
Keep an eye on the Southern Pride Restaurant and Catering facebook page as they announce upcoming events for you and the family to enjoy. They are preparing the patio for patio parties with live music and good food. Once a month they are prepared to do something special for the community and in the works right now is a dance for Senior Citizens.
